Hi! I’ve ed this game and run setup, but when I go to open the game to play, it comes up with an error
“[1058]: The sound decompression software has not been installed properly. Please run Setup and try again. Tthis programme will now terminate.”
I have run Setop again and rebooted my PC but it still comes up with the same message. I’m not sure what to do from here on?
Hey there! This issue applies to almost every DK game run on emulator and Windows XP. You’ll need to install the Dorling Kindersley Window XP Patch Update iso first (if you’re using an emulator, you load it into the CD drive). You can find a copy of it here: Reply
